good morning Salvation Army 11201 Balls Ford Rd manassas The manager told me not to go back to buy at the store because asking the price of a jacket made me feel ashamed in front of other clients, I have been a client for 7 years and I have never had any problem, it is not fair that the lady The manager treated me that way and did scholastic violence saying that if I go back to buy she will call the police, I had a pair of shoes and a jacket in my hands but the manager did not allow me to pay for my items, as a citizen I deserve an apology, every person deserves respect Thank you very much for answering my claim.

Good morning Yesterday around 12:15 pm Salvation Army from 11201 Balls Ford Rd Manassas VA 20109 Apart from the problem that we cannot use the bathrooms because they are closed, the manager prohibited me from entering the store, because I asked if they could give me a discount for a jacket, it does not seem right to me that she give me that treatment, Im a Hispanic person and we all deserve to be treated with respect. I have been a client for 7 years. I work at the Salvation army in Desplaines, Illinois as a bell ringer and I have discriminated against. By the Major at the at this core. THE 2ND DAY I WAS THERE I BROUGHT IN JUST A FEW ITEMS, I KNOW A EXACTLY WHERE I PUT MY STUFF, IT WAS JUST A SMALL POUCH WITH MY CLIPPERS TWEEZERS AND SUCH IN IT SO I WAS JUST GONNA LET IT GO AND NOT SAY ANYTHING, HOWEVER THE NEXT EVENING I REMEMBERED THAT MY APPLE EAR BUDS, ID ALREADY HEARD ALL THE STORIES AROUND ABOUT WHAT HAD BEEN GOING ON AND THAT ONE OF MY 2 ROOMIES WAS A CLEPTO AND THIS WAS AN ONGOING PROBLEM. I WANTED MY EARBUDS BACK SO I FILED A GRIEVANCE. I BROUGHT OVER A 55 INCH FLAT SCREEN SMART TV FOR THE UNIT, IT GOT BROKE THE NEXT DAY. THATS OK, GOOD STAFF MEMBER MADE A MISTAKE, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT AND OFFERED TO REPLACE IT. GOOD GUY. THE DAY I WAS SETTING UP THE TV I PUT ALL MY STUFF DOWN AND I WAS ALREADY ON HIGH ALERT WITH THE SITUTIATION, OTHERWISE I NEVER WOULD HAVE INSTANTLY WENT OVER AND GOT STAFF TO HELP ME LOOK FOR MY KEYS THAT WOUND UP IN THE CRACK OF A RECLINER, I MUST HAVE DROPPED THEM WHEN REACHING DOWN LOOKING FOR THE REMOTE. HE HELPED ME FIND THEM, I WAS GRATEFUL AND RELIEVED. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH ANYONE AT SALVATION ARMY EVER, THIS WAS MY 2ND TIME THERE. THE FIRST TIME WAS AWESOME. WONDERFUL STAFF. THEY ALL KNEW ME, MY CHARACTER, AND ALL LOVED ME SUPPORTED ME AND HELPED ME ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I WAS TOLD TO TALK TO A CERTAIN STAFF MEMBER SO I WAS, WHEN SUDDENLY, LORRAINE THE CASEWORKER, WHICH HAS NEVER HAD ANY INTERACTION WITH ME, WALKS IN ABRUPTLY AND INTERRUPTS MY PRIVATE CONVERSATION. SHE CLOSES THE DOOR, THERE WAS ALSO ANOTHER CLIENT IN THERE. SHE NASTILY AND DISRESPECTFULLY, ACCUSINGLY BRINGS UP MY KEYS AND IMPLIED AND ACCUSED ME OF ACCUSING FALSELY, TURNING THE WHOLE THING ON ME. I GOT OFFENDED, I STARTED TO RESPOND AND WHEN I REPEATED HOW SHE WAS SPEAKING TO ME, SHE CUTS ME OFF LOUDLY AND FORCEFULLY THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER BECAUSE IM NOT GOING TO BE DISRESPECTED. I SAID CALMLY, I AM BEING DISRESPECTED HERE. MOSTLY EVERY ONE ELSE THERE KNOWS ME AND KNOWS MY CHARACTER AND THAT IM NOT LIKE THAT. I DID WHAT I FELT I HAD TO. SHE SAID AS THOUGH I WAS LYING, THAT THEY FLIPPED THE MATTRESSES AND SEARCHED HER STUFF. AND I SAID THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR JOB. AS I WALKED OUT I SAID YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE A CASEWORKER? I WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SOMEONE LIKE YOU. REWARDING THE PERPETRATORS APPARENTLY CONSISTENTLY AND TWISTING IT BACK ON THE VICTIMS, THAT GO TO STAFF PROPERLY WITH BIG PROBLEMS. SHE SPOKE DOWN TO ME, SHE WAS UNNECCISARILY ANTAGONISTIC AND AGGRESIVELY AND DEFINETLY UNPROFESSIONALLY. I DO HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT AND WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS BEHAVIOUR FROM SOMEONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO HELP. NOW, TO MENTION THE OUTSTANDING STAFF AND EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD THERE BEFORE, SYMANDA, WANDA, ARTI, LESLIE. ALL KNOW ME WELL AND HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED DIGNITY, RESPECT, LOVE, AND SUPPORT TO ME. THEY KNOW ME WELL AND LOVE ME, THEY KNOW MY CHARACTER AND PRINCIPLES AND HISTORY. THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE HANDLED ANY OF THIS ANYWHERE NEAR HOW LORRAINE DID. THE WOMAN IS IN THE WRONG LINE OF WORK AND IS PROBABLY GOING TO PUSH ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT THE DOORS OF SALVO, WHO ARE MOTIVATED, DILIGENT AND RESPECTFUL. I NEVER HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM THERE BEFORE THIS. IT IS A GODSEND WHEN IN CRISIS. SHE WAS INCREDIBLY OUT OF LINE IN EVERY WAY. BEHAVED IGNORANTLY WORSE THAN ANY CLIENT THERE. AND SHES SUPPOSED TO BE A CASE WORKER!!! BRING WANDA BACK!!! AS A RESULT OF THIS, I AM NOT GOING TO LEAVE ONE ABUSIVE SITUATION FOR ANOTHER. GET RID OF HER!!! FOR EVERYONES SAKE. AVOID
