My husband and I went to Walmart on E. Riverside and Alpine Road in Rockford, IL on December 8, 2011 where we saw the bell ringer for Salvation Army standing on the sidewalk outside the store in the cold. I'm very disappointed that Walmart does not allow Salvation Army to stand inside the entrance of the store where it is warm. These volunteers are donation their time to help the less fortunate and it is the least that Walmart can do. Please give consideration to changing this policy. Remember it is Christmas, a time for giving. Ken & Barb Guthrie 1296bf2

Well, you can't have both, can you? Capitalistic pigs who stole all their mega-wealth from the not-so-fortunate poor of the world and people like those salvation army workers actually doing something useful.

Don't understand why you are disappointed about Walmart. What do you expect from capitalsistic scum? Conscience? Morals? Muhhaaaaa...

Wake up!

Burn down a Walmart near you and help make the world a better place

Actually, most of them are volunteers. In some instances, where volunteers cannot be found, people are employed to do the job.

In my town, the bell ringers usually stand inside. As for the ringers being volunteers, that is not true. They are paid to do the job, they are not volunteers.
