Then if she felt this, she could have passed on the coat. I agree, don't haggle price, someone may be comfortable paying that, if she is not. Why is this manager getting defended. Were you there>? And all the money goes to the shelters, do YOUR Homework, oh and the big houses the captains live in. The Door is revolving, they give help, put them in jobs, then fire them when the economy is bad and sales are down. Back to the streets Homey! ![]() |

| 3. Written by Chubby on October 10, 2010 from mastic, new york, US You're the kind of person who is ruining America!! You got a used coat in exchange for a donation that you would never make, and you feel the world revolves around YOU. It does not, you are unimportant, unnecessary, and need to legitimize your hopeless life through complaining about a volunteer's behavior? By the way, how many donations of clothing have YOU made to any charity?? |
| 4. Written by She has a job on October 10, 2010 from toronto, ontario, CA It seems like from her last sentence she has a job and does not need to shop at a secondhand shop. However she is too cheap to buy things first hand. Then this tightwad acts like she cares about those in need, However all the money they spend part of it goes to the shelters. If she really cared about those people she would not make a big case over a few bucks. Just wants to look good. The more they charge the more money goes to shelters since it is percent, however this stingy person only thinks about herself and acts like they are the uncaring ones. To top it off she would most likely be rude to someone who showed up at a shelter if she worked there. Her experience has nothing to do with how they treat people who turn up for their shelter, and whereas if she acted like an adult she would have gotton better service. No way was the manager rude. She is just saying this because she did not get her way. Well if someone is rude because you did not get your way everyone is rude. YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET YOUR WAY. |
